Man, I gotta visit Tierra del Fuego... I'm reading a book called "Road Fever" about two guys who drove from there to northern Alaska in the 1980s, in under 24 days. Great story, but it definitely feeds my already growing wanderlust.

That was nice...the Cold War Kids are pretty good. The pastor at my former church (I don't attend regularly anymore) had a professor/mentor in seminary...who happens to be the father of the lead guitarist of Cold War Kids. He's a pretty nice guy.

La Blogotheque's productions are always well done and enjoyable.

I think the Holy Spirit is drawn to orange shirts.

Seriously, I'm pretty analytical and skeptical about those kinds of things, but I've seen it happen zillions of times. I've seen people I respect as solid Christians randomly falling to the floor under God's power. I've seen people fall into trances. I've seen physically blind eyes opened, deaf ears opened, and legs grow out whole inches. I've received (and given) detailed prophetic words from people that had no natural way to know any of it.

I've also seen plenty of people manifesting under demonic influence or a fleshly desire just to be nuts.

Either way, I think God likes to show off His power and do crazy things, just to let us know He's God and we're not.
